Mrs. Linda Bernice Gordon Everett

Mrs. Linda Bernice Gordon Everett passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 78.  She was born on Wednesday, September 6, 1944 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Esther Bernice Vining Gordon and the late Paul Croset Gordon.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and a member of Bedico Baptist Church.

Mrs. Linda was wonderful at decorating, especially with antiques.  She was also very skilled at making flower arrangements, as well as painting plaster figurines.  Mrs. Linda loved cutting up with her sisters.  She also loved going on vacations with her husband, Mr. William.  More than anything, Mrs. Linda loved spoiling her family.

Mrs. Linda loved her church family and had a very active church life.  She went on mission trips to Mexico, numerous retreats, camps, and many trips with family from her church.  Mrs. Linda and her family were very active in churches in Gulfport, Frazier Grove, Osyka, McComb, Hammond, and Ponchatoula.

Mrs. Linda is survived by her husband, William Everett, Sr.; sons, William Everett, Jr. and his wife, Renée, Dennis Everett and his wife, Mae, and Chad Everett and his wife, Katrina; sisters, Dorothy Gordon, Betty Daigle and her husband, Ernie, and Paula Farlow and her husband, Virgle Jenkins; grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Toby, Alexis, Skylar, Wesley, and Dayton; uncle, Wayne Vining and his wife, Jeanette; aunt, Lucille Effler; aunt, Netye Guiffreda; sister-in-law, Barbara Chutz and her husband, Kelley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Linda was also preceded in death by her daughters, Jolynn Everett and Deborah Everett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Mrs. Linda at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, beginning at 9:30 AM until the memorial service begins at 11:00 AM.
