Mr. Robert Stanton Whittington Sr.

Robert S. Whittington Sr., of Natalbany, Louisiana, passed away at Richard Murphy Hospice House on Friday, November 6, 2020, at the age of 82. He was born on Thursday, April 21, 1938, in Smithdale, Mississippi, the son of the late William J. and Eunice Jones Whittington.

Robert was a kind and loving friend to all who knew him. He loved fixing things and helping anyone in need. Before his illness, he enjoyed spending his time working at Beshel Marina in Point A LaHache and fishing with his buddies. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Richard Murphy Hospice House and Americare Hospice for their compassion and care of Robert.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert S. Whittington Jr. (Cindy), son, Christopher Whittington, daughter, Judith W. Clark (Sly), daughter, Patricia W. Kling (Ernest), mother of his children, Grace Whittington, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Vanessa L. Whittington.
