Mr. Peter "Pete" Ferrara Jr.

Peter "Pete" Ferrara Jr., of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the age of 64. He was born on Monday, October 21, 1957, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Peter Sr. and Frances Tallia Ferrara.

Pete was a carpenter for many years. He built numerous houses and cabinets throughout his career. He loved taking care of his grandson, Jude. He never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with his many close friends at the Crescent. Pete was an excellent cook and especially liked cooking outside on his grill. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.  

Peter is survived by his grandson, Jude Tracy-John Ferrara, sisters, Judy Ferrara, and Betty Ferrara Vining; brothers-in-law, Archie "Bobby" Vining Jr, and Kelley Adams, niece, Lori Adams Denstel and her husband Chris, niece, Loni Vining and her fiancé, Mario Gross, great-nephews, Bryson Scully, Peyton Scully, and Andrew Denstel; and great-niece, Linley Denstel.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric J. Ferrara and his sister, Linda Ferrara Adams.
