Miriam Susan Gay Davis

Miriam Susan Gay Davis, of Vidalia, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the age of 68. She was born on Thursday, May 13, 1954, in Natchez, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Proteus Julian Gay and Emma Nell Traylor Gay.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Gay and Clayton Gay.

Susan leaves behind her children, Keith Harris (Katie Waack), Proteus "P.J." Harris (Crystal Harris), Andre "A.J." Harris (Melanie Williams), and Vanessa Easton; grandchildren, Trey Harris, Emery Harris, Harper Harris, Julian Harris, Andre Harris Jr., William Johnson, and Kayla Turner; sister, Julie Gay Middleton-Guenther (Fred Neil Guenther); brother, Tim Gay (Janet Knight); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Friday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
