Milton Emile Herbert, Sr.

Milton Emile Herbert, Sr. was born June 30, 1933, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Clarence Henry Herbert and Felicia Avril Herbert, and passed away December 11, 2022, at age 89 at East Jefferson Hospital.  He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict serving aboard the USS Rendova and was a resident of Kenner, LA.  Milton is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances McHarge Herbert; children, Felicia Herbert Sollberger, Cheryl Herbert Bridge and Milton Emile Herbert, Jr. (Bonnie); sister, Mary Herbert Smith; grandchildren, Lauren Sollberger Ketchum, Michael John O’Shello, Courtney O’Shello Sentilles, Andrew Grafton Bridge, Felicia Herbert Pourciau, Jennifer Herbert, and Milton Emile Herbert, III; and great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, William, Matthew, Reagan, Madison, Audrey Kate, Milton Herbert, IV, and Holden.  Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Friday, December 16, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until funeral services at 10:00 am conducted by his grandson, Milton Emile Herbert, III.  Burial will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Cemetery, Tickfaw, LA.
