Mildred Kraft Miller Bittick

Mildred Kraft Miller Bittick, of Hammond, Louisiana, formerly of Ponchatoula, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the age of 98. She was born on Sunday, June 1, 1924, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  Mildred was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rosary Altar Society, and American Legion Auxiliary. In her free time, she volunteered in the gift shop and made floral arrangements for over 37 years at North Oaks Medical Center. Mildred loved having her family over for morning coffee and lunch on Sundays. You could always count on her to have the sweetest tea you've ever tasted, and a cookie jar full of cookies for the great grandkids. She was an avid reader and loved working in her yard. Mildred will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mildred is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Lenny Miller Sr. and wife Inez Graziana Miller, daughter, Susan  Miller Douglas, son, Donny  Miller Sr. and fiance Jane Triplett; grandchildren, Lori Ann Miller, Lenny Miller Jr. (Stacey), Brandon Miller (Millie), Dale Douglas, Jr., Jeffrey  Douglas, Shelley Matherne (Brad), Donny Miller Jr. (Kayla), Darren Miller (Reannan), and Dustin Miller (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Tristen, Paige, Harleigh, Chloe, Brittany, Brylee, Kameron (Hannah), Cody, Ashley, Elizabeth, and Luna, and great-great grandchildren, Aiden, Caden, Luke, and Levi.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Lizzie Drude Kraft & Peter Kraft, granddaughter, Jennifer Douglas, brother, Leonard Kraft, sister, Dorothy Kraft Triche, First Husband, Lawerence E Miller, Second Husband, Harry Bittick, daughter-in-law, Debi Miller.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana  on Tuesday at 11:00 am, with Deacon Michael Agnello officiating.  Interment will follow at Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
