Michelle Pritchard "Micki", born on December 18, 1973, in Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 52. She was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her - a woman who loved deeply, lived boldly, and embraced others exactly as they were.
Micki had a rare gift: she loved every person she met, no matter the circumstances. She saw people for who they truly were and accepted them without judgment. Unapologetically herself, she inspired those around her to live authentically and to never shrink who they were for the comfort of others. Her laughter, honesty, and fearless spirit made her unforgettable.
She was a devoted wife to Carl Pritchard for 29 beautiful years. Their love was steady, faithful, and a testament to commitment and partnership. She was a proud and loving mother to her two sons, C.J. Pritchard and Jack Pritchard, who were her greatest joy. Nothing made her smile brighter than being “Granny” to her precious granddaughter, Sterling Pritchard, who held a special place in her heart.
Micki’s legacy is one of unconditional love, authenticity, and fierce devotion to family. She leaves behind a family who adored her and countless friends whose lives are better because they knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles L. “Sonny” Siddle; her father-in-law, Chelcie Wayne Pritchard; her paternal grandparents; and her maternal grandparents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Pritchard; her sons, C.J. Pritchard and Jack Pritchard (Gabrielle); and her cherished granddaughter, Sterling Pritchard. She is also survived by her mother, Brenda Siddle; her sister, Ann Parmentier (Dino), and their children, Joshua and Abigail, and grandchildren, Averie and River; and her brother, Buddy Siddle (Marsha), and their children, Dakota and Madison, and grandchildren, Cooper and Caroline. She also leaves behind numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A Celebration of Michelle's Life will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with visitation and memorial service continuing on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Open Door Community Church in Deville, Louisiana.
Micki’s love for her family was fierce and unwavering. She treasured time spent together and made each person feel deeply seen and valued. Her laughter, strength, and generous heart will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Youth Program at Open Door Community Church.
Micki's love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. To know her was to be loved by her - and that is a gift that will never fade.
