Michael Joseph Ribando Jr.

Michael Joseph Ribando Jr., of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 46. He was born on Friday, May 4, 1979, in Independence, Louisiana.

Things weren't always easy, but Michael persevered and always made it through. Michael had a heart of gold. He like to help people and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He loved to spend time with his family, whether he was dancing, singing, or cooking, he enjoyed that time. Michael loved playing games on his phone or riding his bike. Many memories have been made with Michael that will carry on in our hearts forever.

Always remember, Momma will always love you.

Michael is survived by his mother, Betty Alred; stepfather, Reese Howell, Jr.; sons, Michael Ribando and Alex Ribando; granddaughter, Faith Ribando; sister, Crystal Ribando (Emile Cardinale); nephews, Brayden Ribando and Blake Ribando; and sister-in-law, Leigh Burnthorne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Stacey Sentell Ribando; brother, Chad Ribando; stepson, Ricky Sentell; and Maternal grandparents, Gladys and Poly Alred.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 12:00 pm until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm. .

Interment will follow at Howell Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
