Michael Ray 'Peter' Richard

Michael Ray 'Peter' Richard passed away on Saturday, November26, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 66. He was born on Sunday, April22, 1956, in Orange, Texas to the late Barbara and Emery Richard. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

A loving husband, father, uncle, and brother Mike's days were happiest spent with his grandson, Emery, and the rest of his family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Susan Richard, children, John Richard (Nina), Nadine Robin (Paul), Nicole Wall(Luke), and Sydney Richard (Eric), his grandchild, Emery Richard, who was his heart and soul, as well as other very special grandchildren, siblings, Gregory Richard and Tina Wise, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Emery Richard; sisters, Mary Anita Nita Palozotto and Laura Kay Jeffers; as well as his son, William "Bill" Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401,on Friday, December 2, 2022, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 30300 Catholic Hall Road, Albany, Louisiana70711, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 am.
