Michael Pierre

Michael  Pierre passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 56.  He was born on Sunday, May 23, 1965 in Lallie Kemp, Louisiana to the late Mary Pierre and the late Michael Congelosi.  He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana and loved fishing, barbecuing and boiling.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary  Pierre, daughter and son-in-law, Katie Parker (Joseph), daughter & son-in-law, Anna Johnson (Sammy), son & daughter-in-law, Glenn Sullivan (Barbie), Jr., as well as 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Congelosi; mother, Mary Pierre; father and mother-in-law, Neal and Edith Stafford; and brother-in-law, David Stafford.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
