Michael Jack Miller

Michael Jack Miller, 57 years old of Independence, Louisiana passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Richard Murphy Hospice house surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 9, 1966. Michael will be remembered by all for his love of his family, especially those grandbabies. Michael enjoyed cooking and could be found enjoying a round of Boo-ray with family on a Saturday night.

Michael is survived by his wife of 25 years, Angela Guzzardo Miller; children Lacey Miller, Mary Miller, Alexandra Miller, Ashley Ferrara Hill (Jonathan), and Vaughn Ferrara; grand-children Daniel McKean Jr., Kyle Hill, Kodi Hill, and Charlotte Sanders; mother, Ella Raiford Milton; brother, Ricky Miller (Paula), Todd Ross (Samantha) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Isaiah Jack Miller Jr., grandparents Isaiah and Gladys Miller, Grover and Bertha Raiford.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am. 

Interment will follow at Colonial Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
