Michael Wayne Booth passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 69. He was born on Monday, December 1, 1947 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Ida Fairburn Booth and the late Melvin Booth. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Michael is now rejoicing in Heaven with his faithful companion "Petey" the Pug.
Michael is survived by his wife, Mona Bennett Booth; daughter, Amanda Deshotel and her husband "Ray", Amy Johnson and her partner Jerome; and Mary Watkins and her partner Troy; step-daughter, Leah Gravois and her husband Ross; sister, Geraldine Foxworthy; grandchildren, Rachel, Jordan, Shay'lee, Colby, Angel, Amelia, Nola, Rory, Noble, and Law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Booth; mother, Ida Fairburn Booth; first wife, Wonsley Booth; and siblings, Melvin, Bobby, Russell, Clara, Evelyn, and sister baby Booth.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 41372 Thompson Dr., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:30 am.
