Melissa Jo Harrison

Melissa Jo Harrison, of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on July April 22, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Melissa is survived by her children, Timothy, Amy, Sara, Chad, Dudley, Devin, and Christopher, grandchildren, Joanne, Tiffany, Timothy, Charice, Quinn, Jeremy, Nicholas, Athena, Joey, Jessica, Amber, Brandon, Ashlynn, Dudley Jr., Savanah, Daelin, Alyssa, Alanah, Annabella, Ava, Jonathon, Lorenzo, and Lainee, also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

Melissa is proceeded in death by her husband, Melvin Harrison; her sons Coty and Nicholas and her parents, Calvin and JoAnn White.
