Maureen Breen Felder was born in Erie, PA to George M. and Eleanor M. (Rectenwald) Breen on Monday, September 4, 1944, a true Labor Day. That day the ground shook in Erie. Maureen and the family moved to Louisville, KY in October 1954, with the General Electric Co Appliance Park. Maureen graduated from Southern High School (Class of 1962), Louisville, KY. Maureen and Morris welcomed their son to the family along with Morris’ 4 children. They built a home in Ponchatoula in 1983.

Maureen was an active member of Kaycee Ladies of St. Joseph Parish, Willing Workers, Wednesday Volunteers for Family and Community, Tangipahoa Volunteer Council of Aging, Going to Pieces and Strawberry Patch Quilt Clubs.
