Mattie Ann Mccollum

Mattie Ann McCollum, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away at  on Friday, July 1, 2022, at the age of 80.  She was born on Saturday, October 18, 1941, in Louisville, Mississippi.

Mattie is survived by her daughters, Donna Pons, Dianna Ougel (Michael), Deborah Fontenot (Jerry), Dena Bartholomew (Keith); son, Joseph McCollum Jr.; also survived by 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carter McCollum, Sr.; parents, Daniel Boon Terrell and  Clytee Wilson Terrell; granddaughters, Angel Elizabeth Thibodeaux and Amanda Lynn Thibodeaux; great-grandchildren, Rene Michael Thibodeaux and Ryan Joseph McCollum Jr.; and son-in-law, Jim Pons.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard., Hammond, Louisiana  on Saturday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Randy Ray officiating.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose, Louisiana.
