Mary Crapanzano Sciara

Mary Crapanzano Sciara passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 100. She was born on Friday, March 26, 1926 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Frances DePaula Crapanzano and the late Sam Crapanzano. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Sadie S. Dunn & her husband, Steven R. Dunn; grandson, Brian R. Dunn & his wife, Alissa Dunn; granddaughter, Emily D. Reese & her husband, Trey Reese; and great-grandchildren, Lainey R. Dunn, Eli R. Dunn, Lennon J. Reese, and Greyson P. Reese.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Sciara; son, Paul J. Sciara; grandson, John P. Sciara; and her brothers, Joseph T. Crapanzano, Sr. and Russell S. Crapanzano.
