Mary Elissa "Lissa" Romero

Lissa was born on October 19, 1967, at Seventh Ward General Hospital in Hammond Louisiana. She passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 7th. 2024 in Knoxville Tennessee at the age of 57. Lissa was a resident of Albany La. and a native of Loranger La.

Lissa and Glenn opened Romero's Lawn Equipment and Front End Alignment in Albany, in 1997. Together they built a business based on quality and outstanding customer service. Her knowledge and experience contributed to an extremely loyal clientele.

Lissa is survived by her husband, Glenn Romero; son and daughter-in-law, Dalton Romero and Catherine Crayton Romero; mother, Brenda Hawkins Prevost; sister, Sheila Prevost Duhe (Brian); brother, Kirk Douglas Prevost; aunt's, Sharon Hawkins and Peggie Johnson; uncle, Carl Prevost, mother and father-in-law, Pat and Joe Muscarello; brother-in-law, Shane Muscarello; sister-in-law's, Kim Simoneaux (Jody), Dianna Williams (Brian).

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Mack Prevost; grandparents, Mack and Henrietta Oliphant Prevost also Andrew and Mary Jane Ross Hawkins.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue in the funeral home chapel on Friday 13, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00a.m. in our chapel.

Interment will follow at Narretto Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
