Mary Louise Perez

Mary Louise Perez, a resident of Metairie, La., passed away at her son’s home in Ponchatoula, La. on Thursday, December 10th 2020, at the age of 80. She was born on Saturday, July 27, 1940, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mary is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Hector Perez, Jr. and his wife Laura; son Rodney Perez; grandchildren, Justin Perez and his wife Stephanie and Jordan Perez and his wife Caitlyn; great-grandchildren, Lukus, Alyssa, and Nathan; brother, Ernest Laris and his wife Gayle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaspar Silece; mother, Rita Laris; husband Hector Perez Sr.; and siblings, Pete, Johnny, and Margaret.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5:00 pm until the Memorial Service begins at 7:00 pm, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice.  Also a special thank you to Angela Hunt for her, patience, compassionate love, and care.
