Mary Lois Lee Wells

Mary Lois Lee Wells, of Tylertown, Mississippi a native of Ponchatoula, passed away at her home on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the age of 67. She was born on November 8, 1951, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Clide Claude Lee Sr. and the late Beatrice Tillie Bardwell Lee Stass. Mary was incredibly talented in so many different ways. Anything she set her hands to she did extremely well. Mary will be remembered for her gifts of cooking, gardening, caring for animals, sewing, crafting, and being a loving wife, step mom and sister.

Mary is survived by her husband of 20 years, Bruce Wells; step-children, Michael (P Mike) and April Wells, Cindy Lynn Wells, Mathew and Melanie Wells, and Michelle Joiner; step-grandchildren, Conner, Laiken, and Beau; brother, Vernon Lee; sisters, Jeanette Braud and Rita Whitney; as well as her beloved cat that she treated like her baby, Ninja.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Clide Claude Lee, Jr., and the grandmother who raised her, Catherine Bardwell.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Robert, Louisiana.
