Mary Janaan Hasson Warren

Mary Janaan Hasson Warren passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2023. Jan was born July 20, 1941, in Meridian, Mississippi.  She graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Community College. She became a flight attendant for Delta Airlines upon graduation.  She married her high school sweetheart, Rufus L. Sonny Warren, III on March 15, 1963.  With great love and care, they raised three children. She worked outside the home for many years where she worked as an office manager for several businesses. Jan was very active in her church and volunteered in many ways, including working with children and the adult choir. She was a member of First Baptist Church Covington.

Jan is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Rufus L. SonnyWarren, III, son, Kevin Warren (Madeline) Spring, TX, daughters Suzanne Roberts, Baton Rouge, LA, and Leigh Ann Favalora (Charlie), Hammond, LA; six grandchildren Jeremy Favalora (Jillian), Hammond, LA, Hannah Ross, Fallon, IL, Kristen Moore (Benjamin), Bella Vista, AR, Michael Adkins, Fallon, IL, Chloe Dillon, Spring, TX, and Tristan Roberts (Hannah), Prairieville, LA; three great-grandchildren Presley Jo Ross, Jameson Paul Favalora, and Charlotte Marie Roberts. Also survived by her siblings Joe Hasson of Meridian, MS, Jerrilyn Alexander of Big Canoe, GA, and Jeannine Lieberher of Lancaster, PA.  

Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her parents James Hasson and Juanita Hasson both of Meridian, MS, and her son-in-law Raymond Randy Roberts.

Pallbearers:  Kevin Warren, Charlie Favalora, Jeremy Favalora, Michael Adkins, Tristan Roberts, and Benjamin Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
