Mary Gulotta Vaughn

Mrs. Mary Gulotta Vaughn, 88 years old of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Gonzales Healthcare Center.

She was born on Saturday, April 27, 1929, in Independence, Louisiana, daughter of the late Sam and  Eva Brady Gulotta.

Surviving are her son & daughter-in-law, Bernie and Susan Vaughn, grandchildren, Denise V. and Rick LaBorde, Molly Robinson, Lara and Scott Maynes, Joshua and Lacy Robinson, great-grandchildren, Bradie Robinson, Adeline Maynes,  Parker Robinson, Hayden Maynes, Connor Robinson, sisters, Diane Navarro, Margaret LeBlanc, and a brother, Gerald Gulotta.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Arthur Vaughn, sisters, Charleen Kirkland, Shirlene Accardo, and brother, J. B. Gulotta.

Friends will be received Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 8:30 am until 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Louisiana.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:00 am, with Deacon Nat Garofalo officiating.

Interment will follow in the Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum, Independence, Louisiana.
