Mary Genevieve Leblanc Barrett

Mary Genevieve LeBlanc Barrett, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born on April 7, 1943, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Eldridge LeBlanc and Magdalene Sibley LeBlanc.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Barney Barrett; daughters, Pam Barrett and Kim Pitre; grandchildren, Kathryn "Lizzy" Barrett, Edward Barrett, Derek Comeaux, and Coryn Butter; great grandchildren, Hayden, Aaliyah, Anna, Huntyr, Koltyn, and Emmi; sister, Dorothy Ory; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Pardue, and brothers, Alfred Leblanc and Philip LeBlanc.

Family and friends will be received at First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, 1020 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726 on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Sunday at 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
