Mary Elizabeth Mayfield McDonald

Mary Elizabeth Mayfield McDonald was born September 1, 1948, in Bogalusa to the late Horace and Marie Reddish Mayfield.  She passed away December 14, 2023, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond.  Mary was a homemaker and a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church.  She is survived by her children, David McDonald, Joel McDonald (Marisa), John McDonald, and Mark Fox; sister, Linda Varga (Charles); brother, Jay Mayfield; grandchildren, Tyler McDonald (Brandi), Hannah McDonald (Nick Sullivan), and Madison McDonald; great grandchildren, Brennan, Brayden, and Brooklynn McDonald, and Raylynn and Rylan Sullivan; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Carter McDonald, and brothers, Edwin and Keith Mayfield.  Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2023, at Woodhaven Baptist Church, 10318 LA 1064, Tickfaw from 9:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
