Mary Elizabeth Duplessis Wall

Mary Elizabeth Duplessis Wall, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Jefferson, Louisiana, at the age of 77.  She was born on Wednesday, February 23, 1944 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Rita Duplessis and the late Alfaro Duplessis.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Glenn "Butch" Wall; children, Elizabeth Woods (Sidney), Ronnie Ridgdell (Stephanie), Shariee Hemphill, Scotty Wall (Eddy), and Shayne Wall (Kimi); grandchildren, Martin Lanier, Grant Lanier, Kayla Smith (Stephen), Laken McMorris (Kirk), Kamron Ridgdell, Sydney Hemphill, Brian Scott Wall (Laura), Tyler Wall (Kassidy), and Trent Wall; great-grandchildren, Amelia Rae Lanier, Ruby James Smith, Olivia Wall, Dean Wall, and Maddie Grace Wall; sisters, Judy Monistere (Nat), Catherine Juhasz (Joe), and Norma Williams (Kenny); and brother, Glenn Duplessis.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her siblings, Cecile Duplessis, Joseph Duplessis, and Delores Duplessis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, January 28, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield, Louisiana.
