When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalms 56:3. Mary Ann Cittadino Zinna, age 73, gained her angel wings on April 4, 2024 at 1:05pm. She was at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1950, in Independence, LA to the late Pete Thomas Cittadino, Sr. and Mary Virginia Rainey Cittadino Coates. Mary Ann was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. She was a beautician for 30 years and a personal care attendant for St. Tammany ARC for 20 years. A Christian and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Mary Ann is survived by her two children, Melissa Ann Zinna Meissner, of Ponchatoula and Anthony Joseph “Tony” Zinna, Jr, and his wife, Heather, of Robert; a brother, Pete Cittadino, of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Gin Fisher and her husband, James, of Independence, Pamela Canal, of Georgia, Cathy Kinchen, of Springfield and Jolene Cittadino, of Independence; three grandchildren, Devin Meissner (Taylor Chiro), of Ponchatoula and Mackenzie and Peyton Zinna, of Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her three brother-in-law’s: Harris Mashon, Joseph Canal, and Donnie Kinchen. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Colonial Mausoleum in Independence at 11:00 a.m.
