Mary Ann Kimbrough Correjolles, 72 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, in Hammond.
Mary Ann was born on Sunday, August 18, 1946, in New Orleans.
She graduated from Holy Ghost Catholic School, Hammond High and Magna cum laude with a B.S. and Master of Education degree in Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Society, the Thirteen Club and Phi Delta Kappa.
A life long resident of Hammond, Mary Ann was a teacher and vice-principal for 31 years before retiring from the Tangipahoa Parish School System.
She was also a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
Surviving are husband of 54 years, Louis John (Chip) Correjolles, Jr.; grandson, Michael Francis (Mick) Laiche, II; sister, Judy Kimbrough Wolfe and husband Al; brother-in-law, Jerry Correjolles and his wife Diane; nephews, Kyle Wolfe (Kelly), Joshua Wolfe (Maurie), Tommy Kimbrough III (Emily), Kevin Correjolles (Shelly), niece, Janelle Allen (Curt), also survived by, 6 great nieces, 4 great nephews, several first cousins and special friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Leigh Correjolles Laiche; parents, Thomas Sr. and Mary Kimbrough; brother, Tommy Kimbrough, Jr..
Friends will be received Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
Services will be held at Holy Ghost on Tuesday, at 11:00 am, with Fr. Robert Merced officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum Hammond, Louisiana.
