Mary Ann DeSouge Catalanatto

Mary Ann DeSouge Catalanatto was born September 3, 1932, in Springfield, to the late Charles and Ella Vargo DeSouge.  She passed away November 12, 2023, in Hammond.  Mary was a resident of Tickfaw who enjoyed cooking for her family.  She was a member of Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Church and is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Giannobile (Vincent); sons, Anthony Catalanotto, Jr. (Gretchen), and William Catalanatto; grandchildren, Mandy Hill (Jared), Heather Dugas (Louis), Anthony Catalanatto, III (Lauren), Aaron Catalanatto (Whitney), and Kayleigh Williamson (Alan); and great grandchildren, Ella, Eli, and Emery Hill, Noah, Addy, and Avery Dugas, Riley Sophia, Sadie, and Charlotte Catalanatto, Sawyer, Ryder, Eden and Fisher Catalanatto and Nora Williamson.  In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Vincent Catalanatto; and a sister, Betty Sanders.  Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.  Funeral services follow at Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Church, 30795 Hungarian Presbyterian Church Road, Hammond, at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
