Martin Kendal Hall

Martin Hall, age 53 of Hammond,  Louisiana,(formerly of Olmsted, IL) passed away at home on Sunday March 8, 2020.  Marty was born on June 23, 1966 in Taipei, Taiwan.  Marty was a generous  person who never met a stranger.  He worked as a tug boat pilot for many years prior to him becoming disabled due to diabetes.  Marty overcame many health challenges in the last 6 years while maintaining a wonderful outlook and his dry wit.  

Marty was a dedicated husband, father and pap-paw.  He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Eddleman Hall of 31 years  Their two sons, Levi K. Hall & Wife Brandy (Olmstead, IL), Dylan S. Hall and his wife Megan (Anna, IL). Two granddaughters, Kellee Laminack (Sky Allen)(Dongola, IL) and Mallory Hall (Anna, IL).  Two great grandsons, Waylon Edwards and Caison Allen and great granddaughter Felicity Allen (Dongola, IL). Brother, Rommie L. Hall and his wife Tammy (Anna, IL) along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents Jackie L. and Sara J. Hall of Olmstead, IL.  His grandparents Alma & Raymond Hall and Clarence & Ruby Bridges.

Visitation will be Saturday March 14, 2020 at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, IL at 10:00 am with a memorial service to follow at noon officiated by Larry Jordan.
