Mark “Ace” Vincent Wallace, passed away due to complications with Alzheimer’s and dementia on June 12, 2023 at the age of 65. Born in Independence, Louisiana, he attended Marian Abramson High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree at Southeastern University in Hammond, LA. Mark took his first job after college at Briggs Management (Fat Tuesday) and was a loyal and beloved employee there for his entire professional career. Ace was a generous and loving father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. He enjoyed cycling, attending LSU and New Orleans Saints football games, and volunteering for his church, but he loved spending time with his children, Dori (his dog and “favorite child”), and his family more than anything. 
 
Ace is survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Wallace (Madeline Domma); his son, Miles Wallace; his stepson, Matt Robertson (Amanda); step-grandchildren, Ryan and Shelby Robertson; and five brothers and sisters: Brian (Michele) Wallace, Gail (late Tony) Glorioso, Glenn (Pam) Wallace, Wanda (Mark) Enright, Douglas (Thelma) Wallace; Godson, Mark Enright, and 14 nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Louis T. Wallace; mother, Ann Palazzotto Wallace; brother, Samuel Wallace; brother-in-law, Tony Glorioso, and Golden Retriever, Dori. 
 
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mark Wallace will take place on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 1 PM at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N Morrison Blvd., Hammond, LA 70401. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son will take place beginning at 11 AM.
