Marjorie Clark

Marjorie Clark of Hammond, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family on 6/29/2022. Formerly a resident of southern New Jersey, Marjorie spoke often of her parents, Florence and Joseph, with the great affection she had for them both. Growing up in a modest home with many siblings, Marjorie learned how to cook early on and that was to be one of her greatest passions. An avid gardener, she also delighted in canning and making her own jelly. Married at 23, Marjorie enjoyed staying at home with her children. She was often happiest when she could do things to help others and especially enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, sharing the things that she had prepared for them. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Clark, in 1982. In the years to follow, Marjorie was to find great freedom and joy in driving herself across the country to spend time with each of her children and their families. Marjorie will be missed by all of her children Adaline, Kathleen, Louis, Andrew and Margie. Marjorie is survived by her sisters, Violet and Jenny, and by her brother, Tom. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence and Mary, and by her brother, Joseph. Marjorie is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela, Ron, Justin, Carolyn, David, Christopher, Billy and Gary as well as 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren Louis and Holly.  If you wish to make a donation in her honor, Marjorie was fortunate to have received services from Heart of Hospice which is a non profit organization.
