Marie Grace Accardo Sullivan

Marie Grace Accardo Sullivan peacefully passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 84. She was born on Monday, September 15, 1941, in Hammond, Louisiana, to the late Nat and Rose Accardo.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm spirit and happiness she found in traveling and visiting with friends. Marie leaves behind a legacy of love, family memories and treasured moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. 

Marie is survived by her daughter, Tuesday Edwards; son, Randy Sullivan (Kelly); grandchildren, Ashley Bratton (Seth), Bailie Plauche (Chase), Miranda Bourgeois, and Shane Sullivan; and great-grandchildren, Briggs and Baylor Bratton, Levi Plauche, Calleigh and Lilly Bourgeois.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Gerald “Jerry” Sullivan; father, Nat Accardo; mother, Rose Alfonso Accardo; and son-in-law, James Edwards.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, 908 Western Ave, Hammond, Louisiana, 70401.
