Margery Tebbe Daly

91 year old Margery Tebbe Daly went to heaven April 12, 2020, Easter morning quite appropriate for this God loving woman, at her home in Tickfaw, La.  Marge was born in Hanover, Ks to Chris and Zelma Tebbe and grew up in Jacksonville, Fl.  She was a member of the USAF when she met and married Ronald W. Daly who died in 2007.  Three devoted and loving daughters were created through their union.  She leaves behind Michele Daly Ridgel (Buddy), Melodie Daly (favorite!) and Margaret Daly-Ardillo (Tony).  In addition she is survived by her sister, Norma Jean Heidel of Mansfield, TX, grandchildren Taffy Hauck (Glenn), Riff and BJ Ridgel and Frankie and Sydney Milazzo and great-grandchildren Brennan (Allissa), Connor and Jayden Hauck and Jonathan, Beckett and Adyson Milazzo and Tristin Ridgel.

Marge, Ron and the girls traveled to several Air Force Bases where Marge was a dedicated Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scout leader for 45 years for all 3 of her girls and many other fortunate children who she still receives thanks from to this day.  She gave 24 years of Federal Civil Service that included 22 years with military children at Moody AFB, Ga Youth Center as Assistant Youth Director.  She thoroughly enjoyed camping, outdoor activities and teaching and instilling values in children.

After their move to Tickfaw, La Marge became active in Hammond First Presbyterian Church, Circle meetings, Senior Citizens Group, TVFC Sunshine Ladies Club, and enjoyed playing cards at her home on Monday and Chappapeela Park on Tuesday to use up her never-ending energy.  Marge gave 100% to anything she tackled especially her family.  She was never hesitant to give her opinion on any matter.  Most people liked that about her.  She will be missed.

Marge had so many friends and was thankful she was welcomed and included in their groups and clubs and appreciated the extra assistance and patience she was shown especially as she aged.

Marge requested cremation of her body.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

RIP Marge, you were such a great woman and we are so proud to be your daughters!
