Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Â Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through His servant Margie.
Margaret Naomi Boldt was given life by her creator and was born on Friday, December 15, 1967, the child of Scott and Deb Bernsten. Â On March 15, 1968, she received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God. Â On October 20, 1981, she publically confessed her faith and was confirmed. Â She received the precious gift of the Lord's life-giving body and blood. Â On August 12, 1989, she received the gift of a beloved companion in her spouse, Louis Alfred Boldt. Â She was blessed with the gift of a child, Damian Marcus Boldt.
God blessed Margie's life with many special people as she served God in her vocations at home, at church, at work, and in the community. Â She was a faithful, loving, and caring wife and mother who had a passion for, and was gifted at, teaching at all levels - in the home, in the church, and in universities. Â It was through her role as a teacher and mentor that she touched many lives; not only by providing knowledge, but also by imparting the value of lifelong learning and the importance of finding one's vocation in life. Â She also served as a professional Managerial Accountant, advising and working with small businesses, including her family's business, non-profits, and churches. Â She had a love for all types of crafting that she shared with those she loved - her family, her friends, her brothers and sisters in Christ, her neighbors, and the community. Â She found great meaning and importance in the small and everyday things like early-morning and late-night conversations, lunch with family and friends, shopping, and church activities. Â And through it all, her faith in the Lord, and her love for God's Holy Word, shined forth to those around her, especially as she shared God's message of peace and reconciliation.
Finally, on Friday, March 19, 2021, God blessed Margie with a holy death and called her home to heaven to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead. Â She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Louis; her son, Damian; her parents, Scott & Deb Bernsten; her sister & brother-in-law, Cindy and Matt Burdette; her brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Donna Bernsten; her sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Jason Fredrick; by a number of nephews and nieces; and a multitude of friends.
The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Â We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our sister Margaret "Margie" Naomi Boldt.
