Margaret Hano Cockerham

Margaret Hano Cockerham passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 82.  She was born on Friday, November 4, 1938 in Pine Grove, Louisiana to the late Zachary Hano and the late Mittie Story.  She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Jonnie Cockerham; children, Sharon Harm (Kevin) and Terry Cockerham (Stephanie Savoy); grandchildren, Eric Walz (Justine), Shannon Cockerham, and Katie Roberts (Trey); great-grandchildren, Sophia Roberts, Kayla Walz, and Aiden Walz; and siblings, Betty Vaughn and Vera Brady.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Zachary and Mittie Hano; and her siblings, Bobby Hano, Gloria Venable, Lawrence Hano, Sue Robichaux, Ronald Hano, and Roy Hano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, April 22, 2021 beginning at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  The visitation will continue the following day, Friday, 23, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana.
