Lynda Simon

Lynda Simon passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 81. She was born on Sunday, March 7, 1943 to the late Mattie and Roy Felder. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Lynda is survived by her children, Dayna McMahan (James) and Brant Simon; grandchildren, Lauryn Simon (Chris) and Peyton McMahan; great-grandchildren, Kynlee, Alyssa, Jaxon and Elijah Berseygay; nieces, Tracy Humphryes and Kelly Sullivan; sister-in-law, Maureen Felder; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Joseph Simon; parents, Mattie and Roy Felder; and siblings, Morris Felder, Ethel Vicknair and Mattie Ourso.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
