Lucy Nancy Achord Domiano

Lucy Nancy Achord Domiano passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 surrounded by her family, at her home in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 74. She was born on Tuesday, January 5, 1943 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Lucy Blackwell Achord and James E. Achord.

Lucy is survived by her beloved husband, Angelo Domiano; children, Victoria D. Richards, Rhonda D. (James) Foster, Nick Domiano, and Michael (Gina) Angelo Domiano; brother, Leander Willie; 12 grandchildren, Amber Jones (Brian) Holland, Tara F. (Davy) Bonin, Kayla (Jason) Walker, Jaimie (fiancé, Ryan Murphy) Foster, Jana (fiancé, Logan Gill) Foster, Danika (Cody) Anthony, Taylor Perise, Mason Perise, Philip Domiano, Dustin (Lindsay) Domiano, Ryan (Lauren) Domiano, and Briana Ockman; and 16 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lucah, Abrie, Riley, Brynn, Maddison, Bailey, Caelyn, Avery, Peyton, Olivia, Jaxson, Lily, Laila, Laynee, and Levi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a loving friend, Heather B. Rawlins of Paducah, KY.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Mary Ann Domiano; parents, James E. and Lucy Blackwell Achord; three sisters, Wanda Achord, Margie Willie, and Ella Addison; and two brothers, Robert Willie and Leo Willie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017  at 11:00 am.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time.

Interment will be held at a later date in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
