Lucy Crawford Davis passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at her home in Hammond, Louisiana, surrounded by people who loved her, at the age of 76.  She was born on Thursday, October 11, 1945 in Steele, Missouri to the late Mack and Hazel Picou Crawford.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Lucy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She lived her life by example to everyone she knew, and served her family and church throughout the years wholeheartedly.

Lucy is survived by her children, Connie Davis James, Keith Davis, Carlos Alessi, Travis Davis and his wife, Natalie, and Holly Davis Conrad and her husband, John; grandchildren, Michelle Gill, Michael James, Jr., Aaron Davis, Sarah Davis, Sennett Jackson, Lane Jackson, Lucy Jackson, Caitie Skaggs, Tyler Davis, Josh Karrigan, Joey Karrigan, Jacob Karrigan, Ethan Conrad, and Emma Conrad; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lucy was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Malcolm "Mac" Davis; and her daughter, Deborah "Debbie" Alessi Karrigan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, December 20, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.  Everyone is invited immediately after the service to The River Fellowship Church, 45173 River Road, Hammond, Louisiana 70401.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Betsy Landry and Amber Pierre, who cared for her daily, and went above and beyond in Lucy's care. Lucy loved Betsy and Amber as her own children during the last year of her life.

The family would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care, and especially Brent Drawdy, D'ette Stelly, Megan Medine, and Teleha "Tilly" Parker.
