Louise Aucoin Boudreaux was born on Tuesday, March 18, 1919 in Port Arthur, Texas. She died on Monday, August 15, 2016 in Natalbany, Louisiana at the age of 97. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA.
Mummy lived by the slogan "It's A Great Life If You Don't Weaken" and she never weakened.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Boudreaux, son John WilliamBoudreaux, her parents Laura and Willie Aucoin, her sisters Tillie Cooper and Billie Spatafora. She is survived by her children Charles Boudreaux and wife Judy, James Boudreaux and wife Gay, Kay Boston and husband Terry, Maggie Boudreaux, Beth Jelks and husband Rodney and Claudia Tarter.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie Boudreaux, Sonja Boudreaux, TaraBoudreaux, Jack Boudreaux and wife Sebee, Shelly White and husband Tony, Roxanne Matt and husband Derrit, Chris Boston, Erin Chambless and husband Bobby, Todd Boston and wife Stephanie, Adam White, Eric White and wife Jen, Patrick White and his wife Faith, Jessica Bianca and wife Magan, Amanda Dickson and husband Tony and Rodney Jelks Jr. She also has 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank North Oaks Hospice for their assistance in caring for Mummy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mummy's memory to North Oaks Hospice, PO Box 2668, Hammond, LA 70404.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA at 2:30 pm
