Lois Laverne Pierre

Lois Laverne Pierre passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 83.  She was born on Tuesday, May 24, 1938 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Geneva Populus Pierre and the late Filmore Pierre.  She was a resident of Folsom, Louisiana.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Laverne Pierre; son, Dennis Pierre; grandson, Jonathan Lanier.

In addition to her parents, Lois is also preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Pierre; her son, Bruce Pierre; and her brothers, Louis Pierre and Edward Joe Pierre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, March 28, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Pierre Family Cemetery, Folsom, Louisiana.
