Lois Hutchinson Bentivegna

Lois Hutchinson Bentivegna passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 89.  She was born on Thursday, July 9, 1931 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Sadie Griffin and the late Richard Hutchinson.  She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Lois is survived by her sons, P.K. Bentivegna (Connie) and Richard Bentivegna (Donna); grandchildren, Jeffery Bentivegna (Ashlee), Christopher Bentivegna, and Lynn Burton (Neal); step-grandchildren, Tanya Davis and Aaron Davis; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Eli, Bryce, Kelly Rose, Graham, and Jack; siblings, Richard Hutchinson, Charles Hutchinson, Ruth Carter, and Jewel Spence; numerous nieces and nephews; and Sharon McNamara-Horn (Bill).

In addition to her parents, Lois is also preceded in death by her husband, Carlo "Kelly" Bentivegna; son, Carlo Bentivegna, Jr.; siblings, Ruby, Christine, Winnie, Chester, Homer, Cecile, Murphy, and Herman; twin brother, Royce; and mother-in-law, Leanora Bentivegna.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the funeral home, beginning at 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A funeral mass will be held immediately following the visitation at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
