Lois Ball Anglin

Lois Ball Anglin of Ponchatoula, LA passed away at her residence in the Summerfield Senior Living of Hammond on Sunday, July 12  at the age of 75.

Lois was a loving mother and long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hammond.  Before retirement, she had a long and successful career as a Corporate Training Director and Human Resources consultant.  She attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she majored in music but later proudly graduated in 1995 from Tulane University in General Studies. Her love of singing and performing music is what most will remember about her.

She was born on Monday, May 14, 1945 in Springfield, Louisiana, the daughter of Robert Fulton Ball, Jr. and Leona Kennedy Ball.   Lois is survived by her twins Michael M. Hayes (Nikki) and Michelle E.Hayes, three grandchildren Will, Nate and Grace Hayes. sisters Gwyn Ball Babin (John E.), Linda Arnell Ball Ryan (Larry), and Joyce Lavonne Ball Samuels (Ricky), nieces Melanie Babin Hayes (Bruce), Erika Samuels Brown (Warren), Ehryn Samuels Abbott (Scott), and Ashley Ryan, nephews Jeff Ryan (Tara) and Charles “Chuck” Babin (Kristi), and 14 great nephews and nieces.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leona Kennedy Ball.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, July 16th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, July 17th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son - Ponchatoula on Friday at 11:00 am, with Rev. Barry Chance officiating.

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
