Master Sergeant Olsen was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force and Louisiana Air Guard, and after his military retirement joined the US Postal Service as Paw Paw Fred the Mailman, a fixture at the Ponchatoula Post Office for 33 years. Lloyd was a fan and scholar of almost every sport on earth.
