Lloyd Oliver Tycer

Lloyd Oliver Tycer, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, at the age of 88. He was born on Thursday, June 23, 1932, in Husser, Louisiana.

Lloyd is survived by his three daughters, Joann Lewis, Denise Baayoun and Stefani Wagner; sons Emery "Buck" Barnhouse Jr. and Mark Barnhouse; his sister, Thelma Baham. 12 grandchildren, Gabby Lee, Dathan Lewis, Brian and Brent Barnhouse, Amy Mouton, Jennifer Warren, Megan Buck, Danielle Eckerman, Mark Barnhouse ll, Cherie Ellzey, Kelly Allen and Cody Mixon. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Virena Baham Tycer; his parents, Joseph Tycer and Lillie Gates Tycer; his sister, Vinnie Thames; his brothers, Charles, Henry, Horce, T.C. and Leon Tycer.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond  , 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at New Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Husser, Louisiana.
