Linnie Dev Saxon Jr., 41 years old of Gretna, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. He was born on November 8, 1975 in Independence, LA. Surviving are his mother, Beverly Delancey; sister, Sheila Hutchins; grandmother, Betty Delancey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Linnie Saxon Sr.; sisters, Dedra Saxon, and Beverly Leanne Saxon; and grandparents, Johnnie Saxon, Elmo Saxon, and William Delancey. Friends will be received Monday, May 1, 2017, from 5:00 pm until the Memorial Service begins at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Independence, 548 W. 5th St. Independence, LA 70443.
