Linda V. Webre
Linda went to join her husband in heaven on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Â She was a very kind and strong-willed woman who enjoyed sewing, helping people in need, and trying her luck at the casino. Â Linda worked at Ochsner Hospital for 22 years, and then as a care giver with Care Incorporated for 15 years, doing what she did the best, taking care of people. She would most often be found cooking her famous gumbo and potato salad, making everyone laugh, but most of all she loved spending time with her family making lasting memories with them. Â Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her loving children, Darlene Cino (Tony), Aaron G. Webre Sr. (Michelle Lee), Angela Kemp (Peter), Jacob L. Webre Sr. (Paige); adoring grandchildren, Wesley Creppel Jr., Brandyn Creppel, Kristyn Creppel, Kermit D. Frog, Aaron G. Webre Jr., Stacy R. Prine, Kourtney N. Webre, Destiny S. Webre, Eddie Sibley, Brandi Leach, Monique Buquet, Nathan Buquet, Herman Buquet, Jessica Dodd, Pebbles Kemp, Alexandria DuBois, Jacob Webre Jr., Karah Webre, Payton Webre. Â Linda also leaves behind her 18 great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Pete Voisin, Joseph Voisin, Jimmy Voisin, Juanita Voisin.
Preceding Linda in death were her husband, Herman Girard Webre Sr.; infant son, Herman Girard Webre Jr.; her parents, Columbus and Alvida Voisin; as well as numerous siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church Cemetery in Tickfaw. Â
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home.
