Linda Prevost Coumes

Linda Prevost Coumes, 79, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born on August 21, 1942, in Robert, Louisiana.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Gene Coumes, her parents, Mack and Henrietta Prevost, and two brothers, Douglas Prevost and Tim Prevost.

She is survived by her children, Crystal Edgerton (Tim), Gene Coumes (Stephanie) and Keelie Madona (Rickey), her sister, Peggy Johnson (Harry), and her brother, Carl E. Prevost (Agnes). Also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will begin Sunday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Narretto Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
