Linda Marie Owens

Linda Marie Owens, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away at home on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born on Sunday, September 5, 1937, in Hammond, Louisiana

She was a retired Archivist for the Secretary of State.

Linda is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Leroy Owens Jr. and Paula Perricone Owens, daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth Owens Cotton and Miles Cotton, grandchildren, Justin Owens, Clint Cotton (Heather), Madison Sloan (Ian), Milam Cotton (Becca), Kyle Musacchia (Samantha), great-grandchildren, Auriana Owens Spitale, Sloane, Nico, Vera, Rhyan, Milam IV, and Embry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Esco Leroy Owens, parents, Garland and Dorothy Theriot Triplett, brothers, James and Garland Triplett.

Family and friends will be received at First Baptist Church of Livingston, 29401 South Frost Road, Livingston, Louisiana 70754 on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Livingston on Wednesday at 1:00 pm, 

Interment will follow at Holly Gardens Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
