Powell, Linda B.

Linda was a retired nurse, a member of Manchac Baptist Church, and a resident of Springfield.  She was born December 6, 1936, to the late Alton and Margaret Key Biggs and passed away January 4, 2021, in Baton Rouge, LA.  She was 84 years old.  

Linda is survived by her husband, Gerald C. Powell; children, H. Wayne Sharp, Sharon Sharp Lobo and Kevin W. Sharp; step children, Jerry C. Powell, Quida Darlene Powell, Joseph C. Powell, and Gerald C. Powell; 11 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, H.W. Sharp;  and a brother, Bo Biggs.  

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 12 noon at Davidson Cemetery, Clio, LA conducted by Rev. Brian Martin. A Gathering for **Immediate Family only** will be held at the family home immediately following the Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Manchac Baptist Church, 30374 Old Hwy. 51, Akers, LA  70421.
