Linda Sue Arnone

Linda Sue Arnone passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 68. She was born on Wednesday, April 9, 1958 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to the late Elsie Burge and the late William Burge. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Linda Sue is survived by her husband, Harvey Arnone; son, Harvey Arnone ,Jr. (Elizabeth); daughters, Roseann King (J.D.) and Constance Howell; sisters, Elizabeth Penton, Carol Isenberg (Michael), Sheever Penton, and Charlotte Moragas (Shannon); brother, Davis Burge (Donna); nephew, who she loved like her own, Tony Campo; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith Wallace and Billy Roy Wallace. She also was survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Martin, and her three brothers, Donny Burge, Danny Burge, and Leon Burge.

Linda was an amazing mother, friend, sister, and wife. She was a talented cook and there was always something great to eat at her house. Linda absolutely loved her chickens, but her fur baby Snowball definitely had her heart. Out of all the love that she had though, her love for her husband Harvey was undeniable. One of her favorite things to do was to visit the Smokey Mountains. Linda, Harvey, Edith and Billy would always go see the mountains, making memories that lasted forever. May she rest in peace in the Smokey Mountains.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Hammond and Ponchatoula. An on-line guest book is available at www.harrymckneely.com.
