Lillie Marie Martino Giacone

Lillie Marie Martino Giacone, age 99 of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 25, 1919, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Anna Muscarello Martino and Dominick Martino. She worked in retail sales at Rosenblum's from 1948 until 1992.

Lillie is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Deborah and Mike Deliberto Sr.; granddaughter and husband, Katie Deliberto Smith and  Beau Smith; grandson and wife, Mike Deliberto Jr. and Bianca Deliberto; and great-grandchildren, Carter Smith and Angelina Kate Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Jack Giacone, Jr.; and siblings, Josephine Re, Rosalie Pecoraro, Guy Martino, Frank Martino, Vincent Martino, and Joseph Martino.

Family and friends will be received at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, on Friday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
